PHILADELPHIA, PA - May 5，2008- LSIA网站宣布和确认了2008年生命科学行业奖最终候选名单，该奖项是为了表彰那些在生产领域以及消费者交流与支持领域取得一流成绩的生命科学供应商。今年The Life Science Industry Awards™ (LSIA)由《科学杂志》、生命科学主管官员交流组织、生物信息学-LLC公司和科学咨询委员会共同合作组办的。LLC公司为生命科学行业奖收集选票并计算票数。最终候选名单共有45家公司入围，这些候选者是从500多家被提名的公司中挑选出来的。LLC公司设计了34个问题的调查表，以确定优胜者。 2月15日～3月31日，总共有4500名科学家将参加投票。这些科学家将根据他们在使用科学产品方面的经历投票选出他们最喜爱的产品供应商，同时考虑一些实际因素将做为投票的参考，如满意度，产品的功能，有可能购买或建议，最好的整体解决方案，及成本效益等。此次大奖设有20个奖项，奖项类别分为产品分类（14项）、与客户沟通的支持类（6项），每个奖项将分别由总分最高的三家公司获得，最终奖项将从这家45家公司中产生。2008年生命科学行业的颁奖礼定于2008年6月3日在波士顿举办，届时将公布第6次年度生命科学行业奖项的获奖者。
