Kinetic-QCL Kinetic Chromogenic Assay

1，Kinetic-QCL is a quantitative, kinetic assay for the detection of Gram negative bacterial endotoxin. A sample is mixed with the LAL/substrate reagent, placed in an incubating plate reader, and monitored over time (via WinK-QCL software) for the appearance of a yellow color.
2，It is the chromogenic nature of the Kinetic-QCL assay that makes it the most appropriate choice for testing small volume parenterals, vaccines, antibiotics and biologicals. Kinetic-QCL?/SUP> is less impacted by inhibitory products which may interfere with the clotting mechanism in Turbidimetric and Gel Clot assays.
3，With a sensitivity range of 0.005 EU/ml-50.0 EU/ml, Kinetic-QCL is the most sensitive of the LAL assays.  Multiple samples can be processed at one time in this 96 well format resulting in time savings in a busy laboratory.  An incubating plate reader is required to run this assay.
